In the Women's +87kg category, the Republic of Korea showcased its weightlifting prowess. PARK Hyejeong clinched gold with a total of 294kg, while her compatriot SON Younghee secured silver with 283kg. CHAIDEE Duangaksorn of Thailand added to the day's excitement by bagging the bronze with a total of 275kg.

Gor Minasyan of Bahrain delivered a performance for the ages, clinching gold with a total of 457kg and setting three Asian Games records in the process.
